How does it buy you speed?

If you don’t trust the people on your team and by team I mean the larger team in your company — then every move, every thought, every idea, every email, every deck, gets questioned because you don’t trust the people on your team.

You don’t trust their ideas. You don’t trust that they have the best interest of the company in mind. You don’t trust that they have your best interest in mind.

But with trust, all those things go away. If you trust the idea, you trust the action, you trust the pitch and now there’s no need to question. All that is left is action. That action is what brings the speed and that speed brings more action. The only thing left is to get more things done.
